Ronald Lee Sommers

Washingtonville-December 15, 2008-Ronald Lee Sommers, 63, of 205 W. Main Street, died at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Elizabeth Health Center, Youngstown.

Mr. Sommers was born August 10, 1945 in Salem, a son of John and Nellie McDonald Sommers, Jr. and live in this area all of his life.

Mr. Sommers worked for Specialty Ceramics, Inc. in Columbiana retiring in 2006.

He is survived by his wife, the former Roberta Shumaker of Washingtonville; a son, Jason Sommers of Salem; two sisters, Linda (Carmen) Troy of Leetonia and Ginny (Ralph) Pew of AZ; two brothers, John (Barb) Sommers, III of Salem and Norman Sommers of Washingtonville; and five grandchildren.

A daughter, Stacie Mills and two sisters Marjorie Davis and Bonnie Kay Sommers are deceased.

There are no calling hours or services. Arrangements were handled by the Woods-Rettig Funeral Home, Leetonia.
