Ronald W. Gill

Columbiana - Ronald W. Gill, age 76, of Columbiana, died on Wednesday evening, May 15, 2024, at his home.

Ronald was born on January 5, 1948, in Coraopolis, PA, son of the late Walter and Ann Mahalik Gill.

He had worked as a crane operator for Pittsburgh Forgings in Coraopolis and was a member of St. Margaret Mary Church-Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish in Coraopolis, PA. Ron served in the U.S. Marine Corp during the Vietnam War and was a Trump supporter.

He survived by his spouse, Mary Toney Gill, whom he married on April 6, 2017; daughters, Melody (Luis) Parrales of St. John's, FL and Melissa (Rob) Wilson of Hopewell, PA. Also survived by two daughters, Tammy, and Shelia; 5 grandchildren, Kasey, Luis, Jr., Jacob, Isabel, Ava; step-daughter, Catherine Toney of Hopewell, PA; step-son, John (Cassandra) Toney of Newton Falls; OH; 2 step-grandchildren, Ashlee and Ryan; a sister, Beverly; and two brothers, Pat and Gary.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings Marlene, Wanda, Rose, Walter and Richard.

Ron will be laid to rest in Resurrection Cemetery, Moon, PA following a private service.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Margaret Mary Church, Coraopolis,PA or St. Jude's Children Hospital.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana.
