East Palestine - Ronald J. Dailey, 66, of East Palestine, died at 11:45 a.m. Thursday, January 5, 2017 at Vibra Hospital, Boardman.
Mr. Dailey was born April 17, 1950 in Salem, a son of Matthew H. and Betty M. Guy Dailey and had lived in this area most of his life. He had been employed as a furniture stripper at R. A. Mayo Upholstery of East Palestine and prior to that at the former US Can of Columbiana.
He is survived by his wife, the former Diana L. Riggs, whom he married November 10, 1973; his mother, Betty Dailey of Negley; two sons, Ronald M. (Tracey) Dailey of Negley and Chad B. Dailey of East Palestine; four sisters, Madelon Slagle of Negley, Diane (James) Risinger of Negley, Joyce (Donald) Hodge of Frostproof, FL, and Debra (Delaney) Clipse of Negley; and four grandchildren, Ricky Dailey, Johnny Dailey, Nick Sherrill, and Dalton Sherrill.
He was preceded in death by his father and a sister, Linda Dailey.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 7, 2017 at the Van Dyke-Swaney-Rettig Funeral Home, East Palestine with Pastor Kari Lankford officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
