Ronald C. Stanley

Columbiana-August 4, 2011-Ronald C. Stanley, 76, of Columbiana, died at 1:02 a.m. at Salem Community Hospital.

Mr. Stanley was born June 21, 1935 in Enon Valley, PA, a son of Perl and Grace Cline Stanley and had lived in this area most of his life.

He was a truck driver for many years for the Darling Co., Cleveland retiring in 1986. He served in the US Army. Ronald loved fishing, camping and his dogs as well as all animals. He also loved singing and playing his guitar.

He is survived by his wife, the former Nancy L. Houp, whom he married May 21, 1967; two sisters, Mildred (John) Kendrew of Rochester, PA and Patricia (Tom) Bowker of New Waterford; two brothers, David (Margaret) Stanley of Ellamore, WV and Denzil Stanley of AZ; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Olive Britton and four brothers, John, Maynard, James and Jerry Stanley.

A private service will take place at a later date.
