Leetonia - January 2, 2008 - Robert A. Spatholt, 78, of 40060 Kelly Park Road, died Wednesday at his home.
Mr. Spatholt was born April 22, 1929 in Salem, a son of Arthur and Helen Floding Spatholt and had lived here several years, coming from Slippery Rock, PA. He had owned and operated the former Spatholt Hardware in Leetonia for several years. Prior to that, he had worked at Rockwell International in New Castle, PA.
He is survived by a sister, Helyne Louise Varner of Tallahassee, FL, nieces and nephews.
There are no calling hours or services. Private burial is in the Oakdale Cemetery, Leetonia. Arrangements are being made by the Woods-Rettig Funeral Home, Leetonia.
