Robert W. Slusser
East Palestine, OH - June 1, 2005 - Robert W. Slusser, age 81, of East Martin Street, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday evening.
Mr. Slusser was born August 23, 1923 in East Palestine, OH a son of William and Mary Lowry Slusser and had lived in the area all of his life.
He was a retired dock worker for Herriott Trucking in East Palestine, OH.
He is survived by his wife, the former Elizabeth Mackall whom he married June 16, 1979; a sister, Mrs. Jean Kennedy; six grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 7, 2005 at the Van Dyke-Swaney Funeral Home, East Palestine with the Reverend Ronald Spore officiating. Burial will follow in Glenview Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 pm Monday and one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
