Robert Leroy Senior

Leetonia March 29, 2005 -Robert Leroy Senior, age 70, of 39144 State Route 558 died at 11:22 p.m. Tuesday at his home.

He was born February 13, 1935 in Lisbon, son of Libbey and Florence Tullis Senior and had lived in the Leetonia area all of his life. He had been a machinist for EW Bliss for 38 years, retiring in 1994 and had also worked with the credit union. He also taught Machine Trades at the Joint Vocational School, Lisbon. He was a member of the Robbins United Methodist Church, Washingtonville.

He served in the Navy during the Korean War.

He is survived by his wife the former, Irene Dock whom he married December 30, 1952; three daughters, Mrs. Kenneth (Ellen) Wright of New Middletown, Patricia A. Wellman of Leetonia, and Mrs. Roger (Robin) Fuson of Salem; two sons, Robert C. (Doris) Senior of Salem, Larry Senior of East Palestine; one brother Roger (Pauline) Senior of Rancho Mirage, CA; 18 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Senior was preceded in death by a sister Donna Bach, and a granddaughter Charity Alesi.

Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday at the Woods-Rettig Funeral Home, Leetonia with Jeff Hugus, Minister officiating. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery where military honors will be accorded by the American Legion and Amvets Honor Guard. Friends may call from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
