Columbiana - July 10, 2008 - Robert Paul Miller, 73, of West Salem Street died at 11:47 a.m. Thursday, in the Salem Community Hospital.
He was born September 12, 1934 in Ravenna, son of Paul H. and Lottie Diezman Miller and had lived in the area most of his life.
Robert worked as an assembler for Gormac Manufacturing in North Lima. He also worked for Morgan Engineering in Alliance and L.W. Nash in East Palestine.
He is survived by his wife, the former Phyllis Helmick, whom he married July 14, 1956; a daughter, Julie Kay Anttila of Youngstown; a son, Bradford Coy Miller of Columbiana; three sisters, Betty Bruderly of Salem, Ellene Dole of Leetonia, and Carol Hurst of Youngstown; five brothers, Arthur Miller of Salem, Gene Miller of Leetonia, Walt Miller of Kensington, Steve Miller of Parma, and Jim Miller of TX; and one grandchild.
Three brothers, Glen Miller, Ronald Miller and Allen Miller preceded him in death.
A memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 19, 2008 at Faith Chapel, 511 E. Pershing Street Salem with Pastor Larry Paxson officiating.
