Robert A. Esenwein

Negley - Robert A. Esenwein, 61, of 49773 ST RT 154, died at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at Hospice House, Poland following a two year long battle with Leukemia.

Mr. Esenwein was born May 17, 1949, a son of Robert Glenn and Opal "Bunny" Burton Esenwein.

Robert was a mechanical assembler at Ajax Magnethermic in Warren. He served in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam.

Besides his mother of Columbiana, he is survived by his wife, Denise Owen, whom he married August 1, 1998; a daughter, Julie Sanfilippo of East Longmeadow, MA; a son, James A. Esenwein of Gulf Breeze, FL; two sisters, Trudy Frederick of Leetonia and Linda DeMaria of Columbiana; two brothers, Gary L. Esenwein of Columbiana and William Esenwein of Houston, TX, as well as, five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Glenn Esenwein and a sister, Patricia Esenwein.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 13, 2010 at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana with Pastor Terry Brown officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-7 p.m. on Friday.
