Robert L. Brubaker

Leetonia - May 10, 2006 - Robert L. Brubaker, 63, of 41924 Kelly Park Road, died Wednesday morning on the family farm.

Mr. Brubaker was born August 11, 1942 in Fairfield Township, a son of the late Harvey A. and Sara E. Schaeffer Brubaker and had lived in this area all of his life.

He had been employed as a bus driver over 30 years for the Crestview Local Schools, retiring in 2005. He had also operated Bob Brubaker and Sons Landscaping, Inc. for the past 15 years.

Bob was active with activities at Crestview Local Schools and had been a member of the "Chain Gang" for football for several years. He enjoyed farming and also thrashed at the Canfield Fair for many years.

He is survived by his former wife, Donna Rice Brubaker; a daughter, Mrs. Michael (Pamela) Boyarko of Columbiana; three sons, Jeffery Brubaker of Toledo, Scott (Vicki) Brubaker of Columbiana, and Kevin Brubaker of Toledo; a sister, Mrs. Herbert (Lois) Pittock of New Springfield; a brother, Harold E. (Darlene) Brubaker of Salineville; and two granddaughters, Emily Boyarko and Brooke Brubaker.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday at the Warrick-Kummer Funeral Home, Columbiana, with the Reverend Charles Ready officiating. Burial will follow in Midway Mennonite Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. on Sunday.
