Columbiana - Robert W. Brockhouse Jr., age 72, of Columbiana, died on Monday, April 27, 2026, at his home in Columbiana.

He was born on December 18, 1953, in Norfolk, VA, a son of Marie "Maria" Dinino Brockhouse and the late Robert Brockhouse, Sr.

Robert had worked as an electronics technician and was a member of Saint Carlo Acutis Parish, Saint Jude Church, Columbiana. He served in the United States Marine Corps from 1971 to 1975. In 1983, he became a member of the 112th Tac Fighter Group, Penn National Guard and the 171st Tanker Group, where he worked full-time. In 1999 he transferred to the FAA at Pittsburgh International Airport, retiring in 2015. Robert enjoyed cars, was a private person and loved to serve his country.

Robert is survived by two daughters, Melissa and Pamela; his mother, Marie "Maria" Brockhouse of Columbiana; two brothers, John Brockhouse of Columbiana and Richard (Anna Kincaid) Brockhouse of NC; a sister, Mary Brockhouse of ID; his nieces and nephews, Richard Brockhouse, Jr. of TX, Jennifer Sessoms of NC, Jessica Guin of NC, Zachary Harris of CO, and Sarah Harris. Also surviving is his loyal best friend, Norman “Chip” Fitch of OH, many great nieces and nephews, and many great great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Brockhouse.

The family will receive friends on Friday, May 1, 2026, from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana and again on Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 9:30 am – 10:30 am at the funeral home.

A prayer service will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at10:30 am at the funeral home.

Mass will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at 11:00 am at the Saint Carlo Acutis Parish, Saint Jude Church, Columbiana, with The Very Reverend Chad Johnson V.F. officiating.

Burial will take place at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville, PA.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana.
