Richard Lewis Hannen

Columbiana- Richard Lewis Hannen, known to many as "Pappy”, was born on March 24, 1947, in Washington, PA. He peacefully passed away on January 14, 2025, at his home. Pap Rich was a beloved husband, father, stepfather, grandfather, and friend, who touched the lives of all who knew him with his fun-loving heart and unique sense of humor.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 13 years, Beverly Figley; his stepson, Francis Russell Figley (Malorie Toot Figley); his stepdaughter, Jennifer Figley-Heiland (Dustin Heiland); and his cherished grandchildren, Brenna Louise Figley, Olivia Christine Lombardo, and Willow Grace Figley. He will also be deeply missed by his extended family and a wide circle of friends.

Pap Rich was a man who loved unconditionally and never forgot anyone, whether they were family, friends, or acquaintances. He will be remembered for his joyful spirit, kind heart, and the many ways he made others laugh.

The family will hold a private service at a later date. While he is no longer with us, Richard’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved him. "Pap Rich" will forever be missed.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you take a moment to share a memory, wear a neon shirt, or speak kind word in his honor.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home in Columbiana.
