Rae N. Longbottom

Columbiana - Rae N. Longbottom, 82, formerly of North Main Street, died at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at Parkside Health Care Center.

Miss Longbottom was born March 10, 1929 in Marissa, IL, a daughter of the late Raymond C. and Juanita Barton Longbottom and had lived in this area most of her life.

She had been employed as a nurse at Salem Community Hospital and later as office nurse for Dr. Leonard Pritchard for several years.

She is survived by a sister, Juanita Longbottom of Columbiana; a brother, Wyman E. Longbottom of Columbiana; and nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana, with Pastor Kari Lankford officiating. Burial will follow in Washingtonville Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the services on Tuesday.
