East Palestine - Rachel Bell Guy Dailey, age 82, of East Palestine, died on Sunday, April 28, 2024, at Salem Regional Medical Center.

She was born on April 24, 1942, in New Waterford, daughter of the late John and Mamie Heaton Guy.

Rachel had worked as a Job Coach for the Columbiana County Counseling Center, Lisbon and at Elm Crest Nursing Center in Georgetown, PA. She was a member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church and will be deeply missed by all that knew her.

Her husband, Willard L. Dailey, whom she married on February 13, 1960, preceded her in death on, May 9, 2002.

Rachel is survived by her daughter, Kathleen “Kathy” Dailey of Columbiana; a sister, Leetha Guy of Columbiana; numerous nieces and nephews; and great nieces and great nephews.

She was preceded in death by three sisters, Sue Bevington, Betty Kibler and Viola Frederick and five brothers, Thomas, Ray, Herman, Perry and John Guy.

A service will be held on Friday, May 3, 2024, at 2:15 pm at the Crest Haven Memorial Gardens, New Waterford with the burial to follow.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Emmanuel United Methodist Church, 222 W. Martin St. East Palestine, OH 44413.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Van Dyke-Swaney-Rettig Funeral Home, East Palestine.
