Rachael Amber (Micha) Simon

Rachael Simon, age 47, of East Palestine, died on Thursday, June 12, 2025 in East Palestine.

She was born on December 4, 1977, daughter of the late Ronald Micha and the late Deborah Henson Micha Leipply.

Rachael was a member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church, East Palestine and Unity Grange. She enjoyed gardening and helping her husband on the family farm.

Rachael is survived by her husband, Dale Simon, whom she married on March 17, 2018; two daughters, Alexandra (John) Ingledue and Samantha Carlson; a grandchild, Saraphina Ingledue; sister, Nora Wright; half-sister, Kathy Burr; half-brother, Ron Micha; uncle, David Henson; step father, Warren (Susan Beachler) Leipply and father in law, Elmer Simon. Rachael was also survived by numerous other family members and close friends.

A private funeral service was held.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Van Dyke-Swaney-Rettig Funeral Home, East Palestine.
