East Palestine - Priscilla K. Bycroft, 69, of East Palestine, died at 11:15 a.m. Monday, December 2, 2013 at St. Elizabeth Health Center, Boardman.
Mrs. Bycroft was born November 2, 1944 in Salineville, a daughter of the late Leroy C. and Virginia M. Maple Madison and had lived in this area all of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of the First United Presbyterian Church of East Palestine.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard A. Bycroft on September 18, 2008.
She is survived by three sons, Jeffrey Bycroft of East Palestine, Todd Dunlap of Lowellville, and Robert Kevin Bycroft of East Palestine; two sisters, Karin Taff and Cathy Hart, both of Minerva; four brothers, William Madison of Rogers, James Madison of Salineville, Alvin Madison of Minerva, and David Madison of Rogers; four grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 6, 2013 at the First United Presbyterian Church with the Reverend Phillip Bartholomew officiating. Burial will follow in Glenview Cemetery. Friends may call at the First United Presbyterian Church from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Friday. Memorial tributes may be made to either St. Jude Children's Hospital or Alchemy Acres Animal Sanctuary.
Funeral arrangements are being made by the Van Dyke-Swaney-Rettig Funeral Home, East Palestine.
