Philip A. Coseno

Leetonia , OH -May 31, 2009-Philip A. Coseno, 92, of 451 Empire Street, died early Sunday morning at Parkside Health Care Center in Columbiana.

Mr. Coseno was born July 17, 1916 in Leetonia, a son of Charles and Rose Mazzeo Coseno and had lived in this area all of his life.

Philip worked for Mullins Manufacturing in Salem for more than 30 years. He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and served in the US Army during World War II.

He is survived by his wife, the former Dorothy C. Zakaski, whom he married July 3, 1944; three sons, Philip (Cathy) Coseno of Sutton, MA, Thomas (Kathy) Coseno of LaVeta, CO, and Charles (Claire) Coseno of Stow; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Lucy Albeneso and two brothers, Anthony and Pat Coseno. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Arrangements were handled by the Woods-Rettig Funeral Home, Leetonia.
