Boardman - January 15, 2005 - Paulette A. Eskay, 59, formerly of 353 Indianola Road, died at 8:35 p.m. Saturday at the Ron Joy Nursing Home, Boardman.
Miss Eskay was born November 25, 1945 in Salem, a daughter of the late Joseph R. and Mary A. Kovacik Eskay and had lived in Boardman since 1992, coming from California. She was a 1964 graduate of Leetonia High School. After high school, she became a beautician following the profession of her father, Joe Eskay, a local barber in Canfield and Leetonia. She practiced for 40 years, the last eight years at the J. C. Penney Company in Boardman. She had been a former member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Leetonia.
She is survived by a brother, Rich Eskay of Boardman; a niece, Sarah Eskay of Boardman; and two nephews, Craig Eskay of Boardman and Adam Young of Canfield.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Woods-Rettig Funeral Home, Leetonia with the Reverend Edward Brienz of St. Patrick's Catholic Church officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Leetonia. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday.
