Columbiana- Paul R. Weeden, age 75, of Columbiana, died on Sunday, June 12, 2016 at the Hospice House, Poland.
He was born on November 16, 1940 in Youngstown, a son of the late Fred & Ruth Beiber Weeden.
Paul was a member of Jerusalem Lutheran Church where he served as a trustee for 8 years and the American Legion in Leetonia. He worked as a salesman in the lumber industry for many years and retired from M.E. Lumber Supply Co. in 2015 after 23 years. Paul was a skilled carpenter who enjoyed making furniture as well as constructing homes. He also enjoyed golfing, working outside and especially his vacations to Myrtle Beach. Mostly, Paul enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is survived by "the love of his life" Cindy Cox Weeden, whom he married on September 1, 1992; two daughters, Stephanie (Mike) Davner of Columbiana and Melinda (Frieda) Weeden of Cordova, TN; a sister, Dorothy Weeden of Canfield; six grandchildren, Brandon (Danielle Custer) Davner, Lindsay (Ryan) Tedeschi, Shanelle Davner, Jason (Dana) Scheetz, Nicole and Bobby McGuire; eight great grandchildren,
Sophia and Beau Tedeschi, Natalie Davner, Jason, Bradley and Bryan Scheetz, Nicholas Custer and Landon Baker. Also surviving are his four beloved cats, Toby, Blackie, Max and Zoey.
Paul was preceded in death by two brothers, Norman and Donald Weeden.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Jerusalem Lutheran Church, Columbiana with Pastor Paul Burgeson officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Jerusalem Lutheran Church, 415 South Main St., Columbiana, OH 44408.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana.
