Patsy J. Bland

Columbiana- Patsy J. Bland, age 85, of Columbiana, died on Friday, August 12, 2016 at home.

She was born on February 14, 1931 in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Clyde and Frances Farmer Sipe.

Patsy was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Leetonia. She will be remembered as a woman who had a passion for working. She had worked for many different local car dealerships as office manager, retiring from Donnell Ford, Salem.

She is survived by her son, Jay (Kimberly) Bland of Columbiana; her sister, Kay (Calvin) Fickes of Salem; a grandson, Drew (Lauren) Bland of Pittsburgh, and several nieces and nephews.

Patsy was preceded in death by a brother, Frederick “Bob” Sipe.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 20, 2016 from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana.

Funeral services will be held Saturday evening at 5:00 p.m. with Rev. Joanne Dota officiating.

Burial will be at Oakdale cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, material tributes may be made in her memory to Hospice of the Valley.
