Columbiana - January 28, 2011 - Patricia A. Sposato, 76, died at 3:00 a.m. Friday at her daughter, Cynthia's home in Loveland, OH.
Mrs. Sposato was born October 2, 1934 in Rochester, PA a daughter of Joseph and Frances Baser LaPatka and had lived in this area most of her life.
Patricia was a writer and editor for National Eye Care Publications. She attended Westminster College, New Wilmington for 3 years and received a BA in Journalism from Kent State University.
She was an active member of St. Jude Catholic Church, Columbiana.
Her husband, Dino V. Sposato, whom she married October 21, 1961 died July 22, 2003.
She is survived by a daughter, Cynthia Ann (Michael) Oliver of Loveland; a son, Christopher L. (Irene) Sposato of Bishop, GA; a daughter-in-law, Missy Sposato of East Liverpool; a brother, Joseph (Sherrie) LaPatka of Wampum, PA and six grandchildren.
A son, Dr. Michael V. Sposato also preceded her in death.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 1, 2011, at St. Jude Catholic Church, Columbiana with the Reverend Thomas G. Ziegler officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Leetonia. Friends may call from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Monday at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana.
