New Waterford - Patricia A. Splitstone, 81, died at 9:30 p.m. Sunday, November 18, 2012 at Covington Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, East Palestine.

Mrs. Splitstone was born February 13, 1931 in Youngstown, a daughter of the late George J. and Mildred I. Gill Roth and had formerly lived in Leetonia and North Lima.

She had been employed as a clerk at Hill's Department Store for 27 years, retiring in 1993. She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, New Springfield, Joe Williams Post #131 American Legion Auxiliary, and the 8 & 40 Salon #432 of Columbiana.

Her husband, Willard E. Splitstone, whom she married November 21, 1952 died February 16, 1994.

She is survived by a daughter, Corinna Sue (Kenny) Wilson of New Waterford; three sons, Jeff Splitstone of Greenville, NC, Bob (Cindy) Splitstone of Petersburg, and Don (Debbie) Splitstone of Columbus; a brother, George E. Roth of Hubbard; seven grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

A son, Donny Splitstone; a brother, Dale F. Roth; and a granddaughter, Erin Splitstone are also deceased.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 24, 2012 at the Woods-Rettig Funeral Home, Leetonia with the Reverend Ruth Roth officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, North Lima. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to the services on Saturday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Senior Independence Hospice, 6715 Tippecanoe Road, Canfield, OH 44406.
