Ora L. Beiling

New Waterford-January 10, 2007-Ora L. Beiling, age 96, formerly of New Waterford, died at 1:17 a.m. Wednesday at Parkside Health Care Center in Columbiana.

Mrs. Beiling was born April 24, 1910 in Kealey, PA, a daughter of Herf and Anna Patterson Morgan and had lived in this area all of her life.

She was a homemaker and member of the New Waterford United Methodist Church.

Her husband, Manuel Beiling, whom she married November 7, 1932 died March 31, 1981. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Rachel) Mercer of East Palestine and Mrs. Thomas (Joyce) Bowker of New Waterford; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Willis Beiling; two step-sons, Dean and Wayne Beiling; five sisters, Effie Betts, Gladys Clark, Myrtle Hughes, Jean Smith and Elsie Stallsmith; two brothers, Joseph and Edwin Morgan and a grandson, Mark Beiling.

Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at the Van Dyke-Swaney Funeral Home, East Palestine with Pastor Tom Jones and the Reverend Mark Vincent officiating. Burial will follow in Crest Haven Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
