Opal "Bunny" Esenwein

Leetonia - Opal "Bunny" G. Esenwein, 90, of Leetonia, formerly of Columbiana, died at 10:20 a.m. Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at her home.

Mrs. Esenwein was born March 25, 1924 in Leetonia, a daughter of the late Russell and Mary Catharine Halverstadt Burton and had lived in the area all of her life. She had been employed at the Salem Golf Club for over 30 years.

She is survived by two daughters, Trudy Frederick of Leetonia and Linda (Nick) DeMaria of Columbiana; a son, William (Shawn) Esenwein of Houston, TX; a daughter in law, Denise Esenwein of Negley; eight grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Esenwein; two sons, Robert Esenwein and Gary Esenwein; a sister, Evelyn Coonce; and a brother, Virgil Burton.
