Olive P. Doll

East Palestine, OH-January 30, 2006-Olive P. Doll, age 84, of 66 S. Washington Street died at 11:50 a.m. Monday at Shepherd of the Valley, Boardman following a short illness.

Mrs. Doll was born June 12, 1921 in Petersburg, OH a daughter of Charles and Pearl Sarver Hinely and had lived in this area all of her life.

She was a clerk for the former McCrory's and J.J. Newberry stores for 36 years retiring in 1991. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and the East Palestine Country Club.

Her husband, Clifford "Tip" Doll, whom she married October 4, 1940 died November 5, 1984.

She is survived by two sons, Charles C. (Joyce) Doll of East Palestine and Ronald A. Doll of Boardman; one sister, Betty Burkey of Willoughby; and four grandchildren, Kristin Doll of Macon, GA, Shane Doll of Charleston, SC, Darren Doll of Brunswick Hills, OH and Tara Doll of East Palestine.

Her daughter, Judith Doll, four sisters, Ida Beight, Hazel Koenig, Dorothy Jones and Bertha Morlan and two brothers, Frank and Harold Hinely are deceased.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday at the Van Dyke-Swaney Funeral Home, East Palestine with the Reverend Donald Pentz of the church officiating. Burial will follow in Glenview Cemetery. Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
