She participated in the annual Relay for Life each summer and had started her exercise program in order to be ready for this years "walk".

She spent her life enjoying her family, traveling overseas, reading and music, and every day began by solving all the puzzles in the newspaper. Norma tended to her own two-acre lawn, as well as, planting all the flowers and tomato plants she loved. Norma also made time to visit those in area nursing homes to help brighten their days. Her passing will leave quite a void in her family, church family, and community.
