Columbiana - Nina Lee Wichert Parker, 86, passed away on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at Hospice of the Valley Hospice House in Poland. She was admitted Monday after fighting a nearly two-year battle with ovarian cancer.

She is survived by her husband David, of Columbiana; son Matthew and daughter-in-law Nancy, of Lake Tomahawk, Negley. Nina is also survived by nieces and nephews in several cities in Northeastern Ohio as well as by many cousins of her husband’s extended Parker family.

Nina was preceded in death by her father and mother, George A. and Florence Holton Wichert; sister Virgina M. Wichert Stewart; brothers William and Robert Wichert, all growing up on rural Lake Evans in Poland.

A private funeral service will be held for family and close friends followed by a reception.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana.
