Nancy A. Tsipis

Nancy A. Tsipis, 76, of 33 Alisha Lane, formerly of Leetonia, died at 7:34 p.m. Friday at her home.

Nancy was born August 2, 1933 in Leetonia, a daughter of the late Charles and Ersol Halverstadt Stelts and had lived in this area all of her life. She was a Registered Nurse for Leetonia Schools and prior to that for the former Hutton Nursing Home. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Leetonia.

She is survived by two daughters, Martha (John) Merritt of Poolesville, MD and Maria (Mark) Frenger of Leetonia; two brothers, Philip (Beth) Stelts of Allentown, PA and Jim (Dorothy) Stelts of Leetonia; and five grandchildren, Geoffrey and Lindsay Rance and Marc, Courtney, and Zachary Frenger.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 8, 2009 at the Oakdale Cemetery Chapel with Pastor Kari Lankford officiating. Following the services at the cemetery, friends are invited to join the family at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Leetonia for a time of fellowship and refreshment. If friends desire, material tributes may be made to either the St. Paul's Lutheran Church Memorial Fund or Hospice of the Valley. Funeral arrangements were made by the Woods-Rettig Funeral Home, Leetonia.
