COLUMBIANA – Nancy Ann Peters, 66, of Columbiana, died at 9:29 a.m. Saturday, December 13, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Health Center, Youngstown.

Mrs. Peters was born August 25, 1948 in Columbiana, a daughter of the late Alfred J. and Agnes M. Eells Cresanto and lived in the area all of her life. She was employed as an office manager for Ohio Gas for 30 years, retiring in 2013.

Nancy loved crafts such as sewing and quilting and was a founding member of the Rather Bee Quilters, Columbiana. Nancy enjoyed life, but most of all, loved the time spent with family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Gerald L. Peters, whom she married November 5, 1966; a daughter, Kimberly J. (James) Brock of Columbiana; a son, Eric M. (Lyvone) Peters of Martinsburg, WV; a sister, Ona Kitt of Columbiana; four brothers, Thomas Cresanto of New Waterford, John (Margie) Cresanto of East Palestine, Alfred “Chub” (Debby) Cresanto of Millington, TN and Joe (Peggy) Cresanto of Queenstown, MD; a granddaughter, Emily Peters of Martinsburg, WV, a grandson, Matthew Peters of Columbus; a step grandson, James Brock, Jr. of East Liverpool; and a host of family and friends.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Terry L. Cresanto, Robert “Beanie” Cresanto and Milton “Skeet” Tipton.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 18, 2014 at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana with Pastor Jeff Schoch officiating. Burial will follow in Crest Haven Memorial Gardens.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday and one hour prior to the services on Thursday.

In life, Nancy was a giving person and in death continued that legacy by being an organ donor. Memorial tributes may be made to Life Banc.
