Nancy J. Linn

Washingtonville - Nancy J. Linn, 60, of 39143 Salem-Unity Road, died at 6:40 p.m. Thursday, November 29, 2012 at her home following a long illness.

Mrs. Linn was born April 19, 1952 in Salem, a daughter of Donald J. and Shirley Jean Murphy Tharp, Sr. and had lived in the area all of her life. She had been employed as the Chief Deputy Clerk at the Columbiana County Clerk of Courts office in Lisbon for 29 years, retiring in 2010.

Besides her mother, Shirley J. Barnhart of Salem, she is survived by her husband, Robert M. Linn, whom she married February 26, 1972; a daughter, Kelli Linn of Silver Lake, OH; a son, Jason Linn of Peninsula, OH; and a brother, Donald J. Tharp, Jr. of Hudson.

She was preceded in death by her father and a sister, Judy Piersol.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at the Woods-Rettig Funeral Home, Leetonia with Pastor Leonard Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Washingtonville Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. on Monday.
