Nancy J. Less

Greenford - May 23, 2007 - Nancy J. Less, 59, of 12725 Washingtonville Road, died at 1:45 p.m. Wednesday at her home following a courageous battle with cancer.

Mrs. Less was born August 4, 1947 in Salem, a daughter of Wilbur E. and Florence McFalls Hendricks and had lived in this area all of her life.

She was employed as a personal banker at Sky Bank in North Lima for the past 25 years. She was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church, Columbiana. Nancy was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and devoted her life to her family.

She is survived by her husband, William J. Less, whom she married August 26, 1967; her mother, Florence Hendricks of Greenford; a daughter, Amy (Kevin) Shope of Canfield; two sons, Scott (Ruth) Less of Columbiana and Craig W. (Jeanne) Less of Greenford; a sister, Linda K. Renkenberger of Boardman; a brother, Thomas (Tracy) Hendricks of Austintown; and seven grandchildren, Marissa, Maranda, Dylan, Madison, Logan, Anderson, and Ashlyn.

She was preceded in death by her father, Wilbur E. Hendricks.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at St. Jude Catholic Church, Columbiana with the Reverend Thomas Ziegler officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Leetonia. Friends may call at the Woods-Rettig Funeral Home, Leetonia, from 5-8 p.m. Friday and at the church one hour prior to the services on Saturday.
