Nancy N. Drouhard

Leetonia- Nancy N. Drouhard, age 82, of Leetonia, was taken into the arms of Jesus with her family by her side on Monday, November 13, 2017.

She was born on August 9, 1935 in San Pedro, CA., a daughter of the late Harry and Ruth Leepard Simpson.

Nancy was a lifetime member of the VFW Auxiliary in Washingtonville and past president of the American Legion Auxiliary in Leetonia. She was a gifted baker who also enjoyed reading, puzzles, shopping and taking trips to the casino. Mostly, she loved spending time with her family. She will be deeply missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing her.

Her husband, Theodore H. Drouhard, whom she married on September 9, 1978, preceded her in death on March 16, 2008.

She is survived by two sons, Jim Kennedy of Barberton, and Richard Kennedy of Leetonia; seven daughters, Debra (Ron) Colvin of Florence, SC., Lisa Truitt of Canfield, Rina (Chester) Glista of Canfield, Trina (Marty) Glista of Canfield, Sharen (Mike) Huffman of Grove City, Karen Wilson of Akron, and Cathy Drouhard of Columbus, and a sister, Mary Anderson of Akron. Also surviving are seventeen grandchildren, twenty five great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren and one grandpuppy.

Nancy was preceded in death by her brothers, Ed Simpson, and Clyde Simpson; two sisters, Trudy Simpson, and Betty Reese, and a granddaughter, Danielle Kennedy.

Private family services were held at the Woods-Rettig Funeral Home, Leetonia.

Burial will be at the Oakdale Cemetery, Leetonia.
