Mona J. Hughes

Sun City, AZ - Mona J. Hughes, age 94, of Sun City, AZ, formerly of East Palestine, OH died on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at Fletcher Heights Assisted Living, Peoria, AZ.

She was born on December 26, 1921 in Beaver Falls, PA, the daughter of the late Arthur and Martha Hall Davis.

Mona was a veteran of the United States Navy having served during WWII. She was a member of the Central United Methodist Church of Beaver Falls, PA and had worked as a bookkeeper for First National Bank of East Palestine.

Her husband, William S. Hughes, whom she married on September 9, 1949, preceded her in death on January 25, 1992.

She is survived by her step daughter, Suzanne Hughes of Sun City, AZ.

Mona was preceded in death by her son, William Hughes and a brother, Donald Hall.

Per her wishes, no services will be held.

Burial will be at the Glenview Cemetery, East Palestine.
