Mildred E. Rance

Columbiana-Mildred E. Rance, 85, passed away Tuesday evening, November 28, 2017 at Parkside Health Care Center in Columbiana.

Mrs. Rance was born June 15, 1932 in Fredonia, Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late Jesse and Molly Schaible McHenry and had lived in this area most of her life.

Mildred was a 1950 graduate of Fair View Park Nursing School in Cleveland and had worked in the nursery of Northside Hospital in Youngstown. She had also worked for Bergs Pretzels and Mullins Manufacturing.

Her husband, Paul A. Rance, Jr. whom she married October 28, 1993, died September 24, 1994.She is survived by her step daughter, Patricia (James) Martin of Salem.

Her sister, Aleta Mae Scanlon and her three brothers, Victor, Leslie and Mervin McHenry all preceded her in death.

Following her request, no services are being observed.

Arrangements were entrusted to the Woods-Rettig Funeral Home, Leetonia.
