Mildred E. Lewis

Negley July 21, 2005 -Mildred E. Lewis, age 89, of 51065 South Front Street died at 7:35 a.m. Thursday in the Campus Health Care Center at Youngstown.

She was born June 2, 1916 in Kittanning PA, daughter of George and Nellie Spencer Dicky. She had lived in Negley most of her life.

She had been a cook for the former Cafaro Hospital and various truck stops and restaurants.

A daughter, Martha Gorby of Austintown, nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and three great great grandchildren survive her.

A daughter, Peg Lichtenwalner; two stepsons, Bud Lewis and Charles Lewis; and a sister, Mary Dinger, preceded her in death.

Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Van Dyke-Swaney Funeral Home in East Palestine with Pastor Kenneth Rambo officiating. Burial will follow in the East Carmel Cemetery. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
