Michele Lynn Snyder

Leetonia OH - April 20, 2008 Michele L. "Shelley" Snyder, 55, of Cherry Valley Road died at 6:45 p.m. Sunday in the Salem Community Hospital following a three year illness with cancer.

She was born August 27, 1952 in Bath NY, daughter of Sheldon Clark and Margaret Minar Burns.

Michele had lived in Leetonia for 28 years coming from New York. She worked as a shipping and receiving clerk for the WM Inc. in Washingtonville, OH for many years and was a member of the Joe Williams Post #131 American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and FOE #1496 Auxiliary both of Leetonia.

Michele is survived by her husband, Gary W. Snyder whom she married January 2, 1998; two sons, Aaron Sensabaugh of Youngstown and Nathan Sensabaugh and fiancAC. Heather Hughes of Canal Fulton; a step daughter Melissa (Scott) Thompson of Fort Worth, TX; a stepson, Tim (Marilyn) Snyder of Wichita Falls, TX; two sisters, Margaret "Elaine" (Rick) McKinney of Frostproof, FL and Anita (John) Lass of Prattsburgh, NY; and several nieces and nephews.

A brother, Joseph Burns preceded her in death.

A memorial service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the Woods-Rettig Funeral Home, Leetonia. Friends may call one hour prior to the services Thursday at the funeral home.

Interment will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Hammondsport, NY.
