Michael Jon Rohrer

Leetonia - Michael Jon Rohrer, 58, of Leetonia, passed away Sunday, November 20, 2011 at the Salem Community Hospital with his beloved daughter and mother by his side.

Mike was born March 24, 1953 in Salem, a son of Glenn and Rita Perry Rohrer and had lived in this area all of his life. He graduated from Leetonia High School and had been a machinist for many years for local companies. He was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church, Columbiana and the Knights of Columbus. He loved to garden, be outdoors, and hunt his nusk mushrooms. He especially loved to spend time with his daughter, grandchildren, and his beloved dog, Thompson.

Besides his parents of Leetonia, he is survived by and will be forever missed by his daughter, Heather (James) Roller of Leetonia; two sisters, Glenna K. Holisky of Struthers and Lori (Jim) McLaughlin of Leetonia; two brothers, Kevin (Kelly) Rohrer of Manahawkin, NJ and Thomas L. Rohrer of Columbiana; and three grandchildren, Nickolas Roller, Delaney Roller, and Cameron Michael Roller.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Leetonia, with the Reverend Robert Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Leetonia. Friends may call at the Woods-Rettig Funeral Home, Leetonia from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday where Sister Joan Franklin with conduct a prayer service at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday. Memorials contributions may be made to MVI Hospice.
