Michael H. Miller

Calcutta-Michael H. Miller, 63, passed away Sunday evening July 24, 2016 at East Liverpool City Hospital following a courageous battle with cancer.

Mr. Miller was born July 15, 1953 in Salem, a son of Edward G. and Mary Shoemake Miller and had lived in Columbiana County all of his life.

Mike was a 1972 graduate of Crestview High School. He owned and operated Miller Castings in Columbiana. He was Past Master of Allen Lodge #276 F&AM and held dual membership with Leetonia Lodge #401 F&AM. He was also a member of York Cross of Honor. Mike belonged as a SAL member of the Joe Williams Post #131 American Legion and the York Drexler Post #5532 VFW in Washingtonville.

Besides his mother, Mary Miller of Columbiana, he is survived by his wife, the former Marie A. Trzcinski, whom he married February 29, 1996; a step-daughter, Emily (LK) Kegelmyer of Lisbon; a step-son, Christopher (Lucretia) Evans of East Palestine; two brothers, Ed (Kathy) Miller of Fort Mill, SC and Larry (Renee) Miller of Columbiana; six grandchildren, Greyson, Hunter, Junior, Alexis, Kiaya and Casey; and five nieces, Lauren, Nicole, Amy, Kristen and Kelly.

He was preceded in death by his father and his nephew Scott Miller.

Friends will be received from 2-7:30 pm Thursday, July 28, 2016 at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana. A masonic service will be held at 7:30pm and the funeral service will follow at 7:45 pm with Pastor Bob and Pamela Kidd officiating.
