Michael Patrick Flaherty

East Palestine - Michael Patrick Flaherty, age 66 originally from Beaver Falls, PA passed away in the early morning hours on Thursday January 16, 2025, at Mercy Health St. Elizabeth Boardman Hospital with his wife Dana M. Kyker by his side. He was born on January 29, 1958, in Beaver Falls, PA, the son of the late Martin A. Flaherty and Anna Mae Schied Flaherty.

He is preceded in death by his sister Barbara Ann Flaherty Ford and his brother Brian Flaherty.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Dana M. Kyker, whom he married on June 18, 1994; his sister, Beth Ann Flaherty Henderson; four nephews, Timothy Ford, Matthew Ford, Shaun Flaherty, and Rian Flaherty; three nieces, Meghan Flaherty, and Brooke and Kaylee Henderson.  Also surviving are several great nieces and nephews

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Van Dyke-Swaney-Rettig Funeral Home, East Palestine.
