Maxine Elizabeth Karlis
Columbiana- Maxine Elizabeth Karlis, age 94, of Columbiana, died on Saturday, January 3, 2015, at Parkside Health Care Center in Columbiana.
She was born on February 7, 1920, in Wheeling, WV, a daughter of the late Anthony and Carrie Mae Calhoun Kodrich.
Maxine is survived by her husband, John Karlis, whom she married on November 16, 1946; two daughters, Cynthia Caldwell of Columbiana and Marianne Karlis of New Orleans, LA; a son, Richard Karlis of Salem; ten grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Virginia Prasco; two brothers, Kenneth and Dale Kodrich and by a grandson, Israel Karlis. Per her wishes, no services will be held.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana.
