Matthew T. Reidy

West Newton, PA - Matthew T. Reidy, 40, of West Newton, formerly of East Palestine, OH, died Monday, October 10, 2016 at his home.

Mr. Reidy was born April 7, 1976 in Salem, OH, a son of Michael and Anna Allcorn Reidy. He was employed as a laborer at Mid Continent Coke Company for several years.

He is survived by his father, Michael Reidy of West Newton, PA; his mother, Anna Stewart of Warren, OH; his son, Owen M. Reidy of East Palestine, OH; two sisters, Meagan Vogel of Warren, OH and Merri Palmon of Lisbon; and his maternal grandmother, Jean Allcorn of East Palestine.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, October 15, 2016 at the Van Dyke-Swaney-Rettig Funeral Home, East Palestine, OH with Pastor Pam Price officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-7 p.m. on Saturday.
