Mary E. Stockdale

Columbiana-Mary E. Stockdale, age 75, of Columbiana, died at 9:31 p.m. on Monday, August 13, 2018, at St. Mary’s Alzheimer Center, Columbiana.

Mary was born October 11, 1942 in Columbiana, a daughter of the late Andrew Lewis and Anna Marie Andrich Crouse.

She graduated in 1960 from Columbiana High School and attended Hanna E. Mullins School of Practical Nursing.  She was a member of Jerusalem Lutheran Church in Columbiana and had worked her entire life in the healthcare field as a nurse. She was employed at St. Joseph Hospital in Los Angeles, East Liverpool City Hospital, Salem Community Hospital, and Rolling Acres Care Center Nursing Home. She also provided private home healthcare. She enjoyed the outdoors and snow skiing in California.

Mary is survived by a brother, Richard (Karen) Crouse of Salem; a niece Kelli (Nick) Jorz of Twinsburg; a nephew, Brian (Katie) Crouse of Poland; a great-niece, Emma Crouse and two great-nephews, Aiden Crouse and Jake Jorz.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Philip and Donald Crouse and a sister, Susan Crouse.

Private family funeral services were held.

Burial was at Columbiana Cemetery.
