Mary A. Southall
Darlington, PA - October 23, 2006 - Mary A. Southall, age 83, of Valley Road, died at 1:00 p.m. Monday at The Medical Center, Beaver, PA.
Mrs. Southall was born July 4, 1923 in East Liverpool, Ohio, a daughter of Ernest and Martha Watson Penny and had lived in this area most of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of God's Haven of Rest, East Palestine, OH.
She is survived by five daughters, Lottie Royer and Martha Steele, both of Darlington, PA; Mary Rogers and Tella Yoder, both of East Palestine, OH, and Bonnie Bowersock of Lisbon, OH; three sons, Dana Southall of Alabama, Richard Southall and John Southall, both of East Palestine; two sisters, Jean Liber of East Liverpool, OH and Patty Penny of Dennison, OH; 30 grandchildren, 50 great grandchildren, and 10 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Denver Southall; a daughter, Belinda McGath; a son, Denver Southall; a sister, Doris Kramer; a brother George Penny; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday at the Van Dyke-Swaney Funeral Home, East Palestine, OH with John Parker officiating. Burial will follow in Petersburg Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday.
