Leetonia - March 4, 2008 - Mary Pauline Rohm, 87, of 40441 Fork Road, died at 8:05 P.M. Tuesday at the Blossom Nursing Center, Salem.

Mrs. Rohm was born July 17, 1920 in Littleton, West Virginia, a daughter of James and Della Gorby Ward and had lived in this area most of her life.

She had been employed as a salad cutter at Das Dutch House, Columbiana for 11 years. She was a member of the Rogers Methodist Church and attended the Franklin Square Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Rohm; a daughter, Effie Mae Claypool; a son, Gary L. Rohm; two sisters, Bertha King and Wanda Burgess; and a great granddaughter, Amanda Radman.

She is survived by four daughters, Pauline S. Baker of Columbiana, Sandy L. Schreib of Ithaca, NY, Patricia Sowards of Lisbon, and Marcia Thomas of Summerville, SC; three sons, Raymond Rohm of East Palestine, Ronald G. Rohm and David Rohm, both of Leetonia; three sisters, Agnes Frantz of Newton Falls, Ethel Welling of McCracken, PA, and Irene Whipkie of Cameron, WV; a brother, James Ward of Gary, IN; 17 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana with the Reverend Enzie Wade officiating. Burial will follow in Crest Haven Memorial Gardens, Rogers. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday.
