Mary M. Pavelko

Columbiana, OH - June 11, 2009 - Mary M. Pavelko, 85, of 41518 Metz Road, died 6:40 p.m. Thursday at her home.

Mrs. Pavelko was born September 9, 1923 in New Waterford, a daughter of the late Lloyd C. and Myrtle Randolph Smith and had lived in this area all of her life.

Mary was a homemaker and a member of the First Christian Church of Columbiana.

She is survived by her husband, Stephen J. Pavelko; a daughter, Darlene Bartholow of Columbiana; a son, Stephen Pavelko, Jr. of Columbiana; two sisters, Louise May and Virginia Semon both of East Palestine; a brother, Donald Smith of East Palestine, two grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Roy Smith and Lloyd Smith, Jr.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the First Christian Church, Columbiana with Clarence Mansfield, Minister officiating. Burial will be in the Mount Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the memorial service at the church.

Arrangements were handled by the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana.
