Mary "Eileen" (Milhoan) Phillips

Alliance - Mary "Eileen" Phillips, age 83, formerly of Salem, passed away on Monday, February 17, 2025, at Stone Creek Assisted Living and Memory Care in Alliance.

Eileen was born on July 11, 1941, in Newcomerstown, a daughter of the late William and Helen Smith Milhoan.

Eileen was an Avon consultant for 40 plus years and had also been employed at the Farm and Dairy at one time. She enjoyed spending time with her family, enjoying music and attending her granddaughter’s performances.

Her husband, Henry T. Phillips, whom she married on October 3, 1959, preceded her in death on, March 3, 2018.

Eileen is survived by her daughter, Carolyn (Shawn) Slaven of Leetonia, her two grandchildren, Niki (Joshua) Rettig of Pittsburgh, PA and Matthew Slaven of New Middletown; her sister, Linda (Mike) Hilliard and her brother, Ben (Becky) Milhoan, both of Salem.

She was also preceded in death by her siblings Har Milhoan, Marg Siddle, Don Milhoan and Billy Milhoan.

Per her family’s request, no services are being held.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana.
