Mary H. Mccoy

Columbiana, OH-March 25, 2006-Mary H. McCoy, age 80, died at 10:40 p.m. Saturday at Canonsburg General Hospital following an extended illness.

Mrs. McCoy had been a resident of Tandem Retirement Village of North Strabane, PA for the past seven months.

She was born August 30, 1925 in Leetonia, OH, a daughter of Frank and Frances Andjric Milcetich and had lived in this area all of her life.

She was printer and a sales clerk for Sears in Boardman for 14 years retiring in 1983 and a member of St. Jude Catholic Church in Columbiana. She enjoyed bowling, golfing and volunteering at the Salem Community Hospital. She also loved water aerobics.

Mary was a beloved wife of 60 years to Jack McCoy, whom she married September 5, 1946. She was a devoted mother to her daughter, Mrs. Gail (M. Linda) Baughman of McMurray, PA and her son Jack S. (Kathleen) McCoy of Elmhurst, IL; the cherished grandmother of Jennifer (Mark) Boyer of Aurora, CO, Brian (Michelle) Baughman of Stuart, FL, Ryan (Nicole) McCoy of Falls Church, VA, Patrick McCoy and Margaret McCoy of Fairfax, VA and Mary Grace McCoy of Elmhurst, IL. Mary was the extremely proud great grandmother of Aiden McCoy, Abigail Boyer, Caden and Bria Baughman.

She is also survived by a sister, Mrs. Edwin (Frances) Exten of Franklin Square and a brother, Anthony (Mildred) Milcetich of Frostburg, MD.

Three brothers, John, Frank and Joseph Milcetich preceded her in death.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 1, 2006 at St. Jude Catholic Church with the Reverend Thomas G. Ziegler officiating. Friends may call from 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Saturday at the Woods-Rettig Funeral Home, Leetonia. Burial will be in Arlington National Cemetery in Washington D.C.

Mary will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
