Mary Louise Lynn

Beloved wife and mother Mary Louise Lynn, 84, of Virginia Beach, VA, went home to be with her Lord and Savior at 12:50 p.m. on Monday, November 3, at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital after experiencing an acute stroke. The daughter of Orville and Dorothea Christman Chellis of Leetonia, OH, Mary Louise was born on December 16, 1923. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Leetonia and, more recently, Parkway Temple Holiness Church in Chesapeake, VA.

Mary Louise graduated from Fairfield High School in 1941 and worked at the Columbiana Farm Bureau until marrying Elbert E. Lynn in 1943.

She is survived by her husband, Rev. Elbert E. Lynn, two daughters and their spouses Jeanette and Jeff Walker, Betty and Robert O'Meara all living in Virginia Beach; a son and his spouse, George and Nancy Lynn of Manchester, MO; 6 grandchildren - David, Jason, Aaron, Heather, Chessey and Dana; and 5 great-grandchildren. Her sister, Frieda Bevington, is a resident of Columbiana, OH.

A brother, Robert Chellis preceded her in death.

Services will be held at Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home in Columbiana, OH, at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 7th with Reverend John Bartholomew officiating. Burial will follow in the Paradise UCC Cemetery.
