New Waterford - Mary Louise Vocature, 93, of New Waterford, died on Sunday, October 13, 2024, at Salem Regional Medical Center.
She was born on July 15, 1931, in Unity Township, daughter of the late Paul and Mary Manley Guy.
Mary had worked as a parts manager for Mackall Motors for 14 years and was a member of East Fairfield United Methodist Church where she served on the Deacons Ministry and was involved with Joy Circle. She was an active member of MADD, Parents of Murdered Children and the East Palestine Moose Lodge 467. Her favorite pastimes included dancing, mowing the grass, reading, cross stitching, crocheting and adventuring with baby dog.
Mary is survived by her son, Timothy Glossen of East Palestine; grandchildren, Jenny (John Urichko) Glossen of New Waterford, Julie (Michael Gonter II) Glossen of New Waterford, Justina (Brandon) Dustman of Fort Carson, CO, Jeana (Robert) Ritchie of Youngstown and others; as well as many great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Peggy Ann Campbell and her daughter, Mary Kay Rock.
The family will receive friends on Monday, October 21, 2024, from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm at the Van Dyke-Swaney-Rettig Funeral Home, East Palestine.
Services will follow on Monday, October 21, 2024, at 6:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Jay Radman officiating.
Burial will take place at Crest Haven Memorial Gardens, New Waterford.
