Mary V. Green

East Palestine - July 10, 2007 - Mary Virginia Scott Green, age 81, of 8501 Fremont Pike, Perrysburg, OH, formerly of East Palestine, OH, died in her sleep, July 10, 2007 at St. Luke's Hospital in Maumee, OH.

She was born November 10, 1925 in Pittsburgh, PA, a daughter of William H. and Mary Virginia Allison Wright. Mary was a long time resident of the East Palestine area. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints, Lisbon Ward and a former member of the Ladies Auxiliary to the VFW of Washingtonville, OH.

Surviving are a daughter, Mary Boardman of Soddy Daisy, TN; two sons, Leland R. (Debbie) Scott of Indianapolis, IN and William R. (Judy) Scott of Perrysburg, OH; a sister, Mrs. William (Norma) Bradfield of Lakeview, AR; 19 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, a daughter, a son, and a brother.

Memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 4, 2007 at the Van Dyke-Swaney Funeral Home, East Palestine, with Bishop Steve Wright officiating. Burial will follow in East Carmel Cemetery, Rogers. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the services.
